Amish market in Belleville, PA

Just some more pictures of the past summer. Here in central Pa we have a flea market/Amish market in Belleville, Pa every Wednesday morning. The large barn houses not only livestock for sale on the first floor but a restaurant on the second. You gotta have a breakfast with scrapple or eat shoe fly pie. It's the PA Dutch/Amish way! That day in August I bought a large, wooden clothes drying rack, Amish built of course! I could hardly carry it to the car folded up! You would have thought I died and went to heaven! Hey, anyone remember their Mom using an old washer like this one? S

Yes! We had something like that...with a ringer on the top.

Nice pictures. :-)

Thanks Katie. It was a beautiful summer's day and just far enough away to inspire me. I still see my Mom putting clothes through the ringer on that old washing machine! :) Sue
